Andrew Moran Greeley was born in Oak Park, Illinois. He was a priest, sociologist, and author. He is the creator of:
1. 'Father John Blackwood "Blackie" Ryan', a Catholic priest in Chicago.
2. 'Nuala Anne McGrail', an Irish immigrant psychic.
