Stephen Howell Greenleaf was born in Washington, DC. In 1964, he obtained a B.A. from Carleton College and in 1967, he obtained a J.D. from the University of California., Berkeley. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969. He studied creative writing at the University of Iowa. Currently, he and his wife live in Iowa City, Iowa. Greenleaf is the creator of 'John Marshall Tanner', a P.I. in San Francisco. |
