Ingrid J. Parker was born and raised in Germany. She is a retired Associate Professor of English and Foreign Languages at a Virginia university. She is the creator of 'Sugawara Akitada', an Eleventh-century Japanese sleuth. In 2000 she won the Shamus Award for her short story Akitada’s First Case. Visit also this site. |
