James A. Star was born in Clarksville, Texas. He was an author, screenwriter, and columnist. He began his career in Hollywood as an office boy at MGM. Later he became a screenwriter and occasionally appeared in cameo roles in film. After retirement from Hollywood, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked as Director of Advertising and Public Relations for Ramada Inn, a large hotel chain. He is the creator of 'Joe Medford', a reporter in Hollywood. |
