Margaret Turnbull was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Her family moved to the United States during her childhood, and she attended school in New Jersey. She was an author, playwright, and screenwriter, mostly for silent films. She died in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. She is the creator of 'Juliet Jackson' aka the "female ferret", a reporter and amateur sleuth in New York City. |
