Diane Weiner was born in Teaneck, New Jersey. She currently lives in Coral Springs, Florida with her husband. She is an author and retired public school teacher. She is the creator of:

2. 'Sugarbury Falls Mystery' series featuring Emily and Henry Fox, retirees and amateur sleuths in a small town in Vermont.
3. 'Susan Wiles Schoolhouse Mystery' series featuring Susan Wiles, a retired music teacher and amateur sleuth in upstate New York.
