Malia Zaidi grew up in Germany. She currently lives in Washington, DC. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and studied at English at Oxford University. She is an author and painter. She is the creator of the 'Lady Evelyn Mystery' series featuring Lady Evelyn Carlisle, an amateur sleuth in 1920s England.
