David Alexander
1953-
 

Pseudonym of Lawrence Herskovits. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He writes fiction, nonfiction, investigative journalism and poetry. He studied in New York City and Paris. He also wrote several science fiction novels under the house name 'John Sievert' and military adventure novels under the pseudonyms 'Kyle Maning' and 'William Reed'. He is the creator of:
1. 'Marine Force One' series featuring America’s most elite force of soldiers.
2. 'Nomad' series featuring a covert operator in the near-future.
3. 'Phoenix' series featuring Phoenix, a survivor and expert with any weapon after the nuclear holocaust.
