William Brandon
1914-2002
 

William Edward Brandon was born in Kokomo, Indiana. He was an author, essayist, poet, and historian. He is best known for his work about Native Americans and the American West. He also wrote short fiction, essays, and poetry for magazines such as Black Mask, Detective Weekly, Esquire, The Atlantic Monthly, The Paris Review, The Saturday Evening Post, and Reader's Digest.
