Pseudonym of Robert Malcolm Ward Dixon, an academic who has lectured in many parts of the world. He was born in Gloucester, England. He was educated at the University of Oxford and the University of Edinburgh. Dixon is Professor of Linguistics at The Cairns Institute, James Cook University, Queensland, and formerly Director of the Research Centre for Linguistic Typology at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. He is the creator of 'Frank le Roux', a female investigator. |
