Joan Coggin was born in Lemsford, Hertfordshire. In World War I she worked as a nurse at an Eastbourne hospital. She also wrote a few girl's books under the pseudonym 'Joanna Lloyd'. She is the creator of 'Lady Lupin', an amateur sleuth. |
