William Garner
1920-2005
 

William Garner was born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1941 with a B.Sc. From 1941 to 1946, he served in the Royal Air Force rising to the rank of flight lieutenant. He is the creator of:
1. 'Michael Jagger', a British spy.
2. 'John Morpurgo', head of British counter-intelligence.
