Jonathan Hall was born in Yorkshire. He currently lives in Shipley, West Yorkshire. He is an author, playwright, and retired deputy head of a primary school. He is the creator of 'Liz, Pat and Thelma', retired schoolteachers and amateur sleuths in Yorkshire.
