Isabelle Christian Holland was born in Basel, Switzerland. During the Second World War her father was the American Consul in Liverpool, England. After the war she moved to the United States. She is the creator of 'Claire Aldington', a reverend and amateur sleuth in New York City. She also wrote romance novels. |
