Andrew Klavan was born in New York City. He is a former newspaper reporter and radio news writer and editor. He lives in London with his family. He is the creator of:
1. 'Scott Weiss and Jim Bishop', private eyes.
2. 'John Wells', a top crime reporter (under the pseudonym 'Keith Peterson').
