Kathryn Ellen Lilley was born in Washington, D.C. She currently lives in Manhattan Beach, California. She is an author and television reporter. She is the creator of the 'Fat City Mysteries', featuring Kate Gallagher, a TV reporter who is constantly fighting a weight problem that threatens her on-camera career.
