David Wilson MacArthur was born in Ayrshire, Scotland. He travelled widely in Europe, America and Africa and wrote numerous short stories. During World War II, he served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. After the war, he spent time in Rhodesia, Canada and South Africa. |
