Victor Methos was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. At the age of nine he immigrated to the United States. He divides his time between southern Utah and Las Vegas. He is an author and attorney. He is the creator of:
1. 'Baudin & Dixon' series featuring Ethan Baudin and Kyle Dixon, detectives with the Cheyenne Police Department.
2. 'Black Onyx Chronicles' series featuring Dillon Mentzer, an explorer and treasure hunter.
3. 'Desert Plains' series featuring prosecutor Jessica Yardley and several other protagonists in and around Las Vegas, Nevada.
4. 'Jon Stanton', a homicide detective in San Diego, California.
5. 'Mickey Parsons', a Special Agent with the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit.
6. 'Neon Lawyer' series featuring Brigham Theodore, a criminal defense attorney in Salt Lake City, Utah.
7. 'Plague' series featuring Samatha Bower, a doctor of the Centers for Disease Control.
8. 'Sarah King', an outcast of the Pennsylvania Amish community who can speak to the dead.
9. 'Shepard & Gray' series featuring former prosecutor Solomon Shepard and Tooele County sheriff Elizabeth "Billie" Gray.
