Robert Ryan was born in Liverpool. He is a free-lance writer. He lives in London with his wife. He is the creator of:
1. 'Vincent Piper', an FBI agent working in London (under the pseudonym 'Tom Neale').
2. 'Sam Wylde', a female bodyguard (under the pseudonym 'RJ Bailey', with his wife Deb).
