Oswald Morris Wynd was born in Tokyo, Japan to Scottish parents. In World War II he joined the Scots Guards. He spent more than three years as a prisoner of war. After the war he returned to Scotland where he lived for the rest of his life. He is the creator of 'Paul Harris', the owner of a heavy equipment business in Singapore (under the pseudonym 'Gavin Black'). |
