H.R. Addison
1805-1876
 

Henry Robert Addison was born in Calcutta, India to British parents. He was an author, army officer, short story writer, and playwright. He was commissioned into the 2nd Dragoon Guards in 1827 and rose to the rank of lieutenant-colonel. He died in London.
