Pseudonym of Peter Stuart Smith. He was born in Cambridge. He spent over twenty years in the Royal Navy's Fleet Air arm and served during the Falklands War. He has been involved in covert operations in many places in the world. He also writes under the pseudonyms 'Max Adams', 'James Barrington', 'Tom Kasey' and 'Jack Steel'. He is the creator of:
1. 'Chris Bronson', a Detective Sergeant in Tunbridge Wells.
2. 'Eddie Dawson', an explosives expert in World War II (under the pseudonym 'Max Adams').
3. 'Paul Richter', a British agent (under the pseudonym 'James Barrington').
