Michael A. Hawley is a former sheriff with the Island County Sheriff's Office in Washington and former precinct commander for North Whidbey, Washington. He retired from law enforcement in 2020 and lives in Langley, Washington. He is the creator of 'Leah Harris and Frank Milkovich', homicide detectives in Seattle, Washington.
