Keith Heller was born in Moorhead, Minnesota. He is an author, poet, and teacher. He has taught English in the United States, Japan, Spain, and Argentina and currently teaches at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He is the creator of 'George Man', a parish watchman in early 18th-century London.
