Peg Herring was born in northern Michigan. She lives in Michigan with her husband. She is an author and former English teacher. She is the creator of:
1. 'Dead Detective Mystery' series featuring Seamus, a murdered detective who returns as a ghost to solve crimes.
2. 'Kidnap Caper' series featuring Robin Parsons, a former legal secretary and vigilante.
3. 'Loser Mystery' series featuring Loser, a homeless woman and amateur sleuth in Richmond, Virginia.
4. 'Mercedes Mystery' series featuring Mercedes Maxwell, an amateur sleuth.
5. 'Simon & Elizabeth Mystery' series featuring Simon Maldon, a phycian's son and Elizabeth Tudor, Henry VIII's daughter as amateur sleuths in 16th century England.
6. ‘Sleuth Sisters Mystery’ series featuring Faye and Barb, middle -aged sisters who run a detective agency in Allport, Lower Michigan (under the pseudonym 'Maggie Pill').
