Victoria Endicott Lincoln was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was an author, biographer, and true crime writer. In 1968, she received an Edgar Award for Best Fact Crime from the Mystery Writers of America for her book A Private Disgrace: Lizzie Borden by Daylight.
