Oscar de Muriel was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He currently lives in Manchester, England. He is an author, chemist, translator, and violinist. He is the creator of the 'Frey & McGray' series featuring Scotland Yard inspector Ian Frey and his boss, "Nine-Nails" McGray in late 19th century Edinburgh, Scotland. Visit also this site.
