Mobashar Qureshi was born in Benin City, Nigeria and lived briefly in Karachi, Pakistan before his family moved to Canada. He currently lives in Toronto, Canada with his family. He is the creator of:
1. 'Echo Rose', the alter ego of Grace Kelly Sanderson and amateur investigator (under the pseudonym 'Thomas Fincham').
2. 'Hyder Ali', a Muslim-American reporter.
3. 'Jo Pullinger', an FBI agent (under the pseudonym 'Thomas Fincham').
4. 'Lee Callaway', a private investigator (under the pseudonym 'Thomas Fincham').
5. 'Martin Rhodes', a former homicide detective for the Newport Police Department (under the pseudonym 'Thomas Fincham').
6. 'Roman Solaire', a modern day Robin Hood.
