Hugh C. Rae

Hugh Crauford Rae was born in Knightswood, Scotland. He was an author and lecturer in creative writing at Glasgow University. He is the creator of:
1. 'McCaig', an Inspector and later Superintendent in Scotland.
2. 'Arthur Salisbury & Frank Shearer', conmen in England (under the pseudonym 'Robert Crawford').
