Robert Nicholas Reeves was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He is an author and literary critic. He is Associate Provost of Southampton Graduate Arts Campus and leads the development and expansion of graduate education in Creative Writing, Theatre, Film, and Visual Arts at Stony Brook Southampton. He is the creator of 'Thomas Carlyle Theron', a professor and amateur sleuth in Boston, Massachusetts.
