Leah Ruth Robinson Rousmaniere was born in Summit, New Jersey. She is an author and New York State certified emergency medical technician. She and her husband divide their time between Manhattan and Stamford, Connecticut. She is the creator of 'Evelyn Sutcliffe', an ER doctor at Manhattan's University Hospital in New York City.
