Robert Elwayne Skimin was born in Belden, Ohio. He served in the United States Army as an aviator and paratrooper from 1947 to 1967. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He also wrote historical fiction and non-fiction books. |
