John Michael "Mike" Butterworth was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. He was an author, editor, and comic book writer. He trained as an artist and worked for a short time as a tutor in drawing at Nottingham College of Art. Shortly before his death, he legally changed his name to Michael Marlowe. He is the creator of 'Tina May', a celebrity pathologist and television show hostess (under the pseudonym 'Sarah Kemp'). |
