Pseudonym of George Carrol Sims. He was also a screenwriter under the pseudonym 'Peter Ruric'. Sims was born in Des Moines, Iowa. His parents separated in 1908 and he spent the next years in Chicago. In 1918, he went to California and worked as a production assistant and scenarist. His Hollywood career ended in 1944 and he spent much of the late 1940s and 50s in Europe. |
