Frank Gilbert Hackforth-Jones was a British author and Commander in the Royal Navy. During World War I, he served as a midshipman in the battleship Emperor of India. He rose to the rank of Commander before his retirement in 1936. During World War II, he served in the Technical Branch. He is the creator of 'Paul Dexter', a Commander in Her Majesty's Royal Navy. |
