Ronald Harwood was born, as Ronald Horwitz, in Cape Town, South Africe to British parents. He was an author, playwright, and screenwriter. He is best known for his plays for the British stage as well as the screenplays for The Dresser and The Pianist. In the 1950s he changed his surname from Horwitz to Harwood. |
