Elspeth Huxley

Elspeth Josceline Grant Huxley was born in London. She was an author, broadcaster, journalist, magistrate, environmentalist, farmer, and government adviser. She is the creator of 'Superintendent Vachell', a former Canadian police officer and now a police officer of the Chania CID in British colonial Africa.
