Peter de Jonge was born in Stamford, Connecticut. He has written for several magazines including National Geographic, New York Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar. He is the creator of 'Darlene O’Hara', a Detective of the Seventh Precinct in New York City. He also wrote two crime novels together with James Patterson.
