Edwin Hartley Cameron Leather was born in Toronto, Canada. He was an author, broadcaster, and politician. In 1962, he became a British citizen. He was a member of Parliament from 1962 to 1964 and served as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the British colony of Bermuda from 1973 to 1977. He is the creator of 'Rupert Conway', an art dealer and amateur sleuth. |
