Peter Chad Tigar Levi was born in Ruislip, Middlesex (now Greater London). He was an author, poet, archaeologist, Jesuit priest, travel writer, biographer, academic, reviewer, critic, and Professor of Poetry at the University of Oxford. He is the creator of 'Ben Jonson', a historian and archaeologist.
