Diane Wei Liang was born in China. While studying at Beijing University in the 1980s, she was forced to leave China and continued her studies in the USA. She now lives in London where she teaches business management at Royal Holloway College, London University. She is the creator of 'Mei Wang', a private detective in China. Visit also this site.
