Ted Thackrey, Jr. was an author, editor, newspaper reporter, and associate publisher. He worked for the New York Post, The Wichita Eagle in Wichita Kansas, the Los Angeles Examiner, and the Los Angeles Times. He is the creator of 'Preacher', an ex-Special Forces commando, professional gambler and mystic.
