Rebecca Tope was born and raised on a farm in Devon. She had a varied career before turning to writing. She is the creator of:
1. 'Cotswold Mystery' series featuring Thea Osborne, a house sitter and amateur sleuth.
2. 'Den Cooper', a Devon police detective.
3. 'Drew Slocombe', an undertaker and amateur sleuth.
4. 'Lake District Mystery' series featuring Persimmon "Simmy" Brown, a florist and amateur sleuth.
