Kirby Williams was the joint pseudonym of Irving (Kirby) Ramsdell (1900-1965), William A. Norris (1897-1964), and William Parker (?-?). Irving Ramsdell was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. All three of them were reporters. They are the creators of 'Dr. Thackeray Place', a gentleman investigator of crime in Chicago, Illinois.
