Jerry Ahern

Jerome Morrell Ahern was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was an expert on firearms and served as president of a firearms company. He is the creator of:
1. 'Defender' series featuring Dan Holden, a former Navy SEAL and history professor.
2. 'Ed Mulvaney', a Chicago cop and ex-Green Beret (with Sharon Ahern).
3. 'Surgical Strike' series featuring an elite anti-terrorist team.
4. 'Survivalist' series featuring John Thomas Rourke, an ex-CIA agent turned weapons expert and survivalist.
5. 'Taker' series featuring adventurers Josh Culhane and his girlfriend Mary Mulrooney (with Sharon Ahern).
6. 'They Call Me the Mercenary' series featuring Hank Frost, a one-eyed mercenary (under the pseudonym 'Axel Kilgore').
7. 'Dan Track', an Americian military intelligence agent (see also Patrick Andrews).
