Edward Sidney Aarons was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He obtained a degree in Literature and History from Columbia University. In the Second World War he was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He also wrote under the pseudonyms 'Paul Ayres' and 'Edward Ronns'. See also Will B. Aarons. |
