Roger Jaynes was born in Iowa. He was a sportswriter for the Milwaukee Journal. He also worked for the Miami Herald and Gannett News Service. He and his wife lived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Jaynes wrote Sherlock Holmes pastiches, the famous detective created by Arthur Conan Doyle. |
