Linda Stratmann was born in Leicester. She currently lives in London with her husband. She also writes historical true crime novels. She is the creator of:
1. 'Early Casebook of Sherlock Holmes' series featuring the famous detective created by Arthur Conan Doyle.
2. 'Frances Doughty', a lady detective in 1880s London.
3. 'Mina Scarletti', an authoress and amateur sleuth in Victorian Brighton.
