David Stuart Davies
1946-
 

David Stuart Davies worked as a teacher of English before becoming a full-time editor, writer, and playwright. He is the creator of:
1. 'Johnny Hawke', a private investigator in London during the Second World War.
2. 'Paul Snow', a Detective Inspector in 1980s Yorkshire.
He also writes novels featuring 'Sherlock Holmes' (a character created by Arthur Conan Doyle).
